KOOTINGAL
LIONS
CLUB

The Kootingal Art Exhibition and Sales (commonly known as Kooty Art Show) is organised by the Kootingal Lions Club, New South Wales.

The aim of the exhibition is to promote artists, especially in regional areas, and provide them with a forum to display their works and the opportunity to sell their paintings.

Kootingal Lions Club is dedicated to making our community a better place to live.We welcome any feedback and suggestions from our local community and would appreciate your offers to help with our projects. We all have a role to play in strengthening our community.  We hope you have enjoyed our Australia day festivities,  the Anzac parade and service as well as other events from Kootingal Lions.

We are delighted to promote Ella Scott, a student of Tamworth High School, as our Lions Youth Of The Year candidate for Kootingal Lions. Ella presented a well tought-out speech on the funding disparities between public schools and private schools. Given the calibre that we saw, through her presentation we feel Ella has an excellent future in the chosen career in Law.

This year all our junior artists over the age of 11 can choose to enter the Lions International Peace Posters competition. The winning entry will go on to the next level District level. If successful, the winner will advance to higher levels and international judging. This is an amazing opportunity for our young artists to have their creativity recognized and appreciated to promote world peace.

In our local area, we have been working with the Lions Eye Health Program (LEHP Australia), to improve children's vision through eyesight checks. Your local Lions Club can assist your school or group to carry out the required testing. For more information, please contact  kootingal@lions201n1.au
