ENTRY CONDITIONS

  • No work is to be entered in more than one section.

  • Maximum of 4 entries per person per section.

  • All entries must be the original work of the entrant and not previously shown at Kootingal. 

  • All entries must be ready to hang with wire or suitable cord. 

  • Maximum size limited to 90cm x 75cm including frame. 

  • Miniature and Junior sections. Works exceeding limit will not be hung.

  • Miniature category can be any medium. Artwork size must not exceed 400mm perimeter. Frame size should be proportional to the image. 

  • Junior maximum size 45cm x 30cm including frame. 

  • All entries will be judged but coordinators reserve the right to withhold any work unsuitable for hanging. Judge's decision is final.

  • Entries section 1-6 must be for sale.  A 20% commission will be deducted.

  • All entries must be securely wrapped for transit with sufficient packaging for return. Name and return address and phone to be clearly stated.

  • Artists who hand deliver paintings should take their wrappings with them and bring them back to wrap their works, if not sold. 

  • Lions reserve the right to have any entry reproduced in print or digital format for publicity and promotion for the purpose of the exhibition.

  • Enclosed labels must be attached to rear of entries with artist's name, title, section, price, and method of return. 

  • Regretfully No digital art entries can be accepted in either junior or adult sections. However, we are considering this for future years.

  • Please note: Exhibition will close at 3:00pm on Sunday, 14th September 2025. Artworks  must be checked off at the door before leaving.

  • Entries to be returned to depots or by post will be delivered as soon as possible.

  • While all possible care will be taken with entries, all transport and insurance costs are the responsibility of the entrant. Lions will not be liable for any loss or damage in transit or during exhibition.

  • International Peace Posters: Please note the very special conditions for this international competition. Parents will be supplied with information pertaining to permissions for the entry to the competition. See separate page of special conditions for this competition.

  • Digital Art one group, covering ages 6 to 17 years old. Please state what program you have used to create your digital work on the back of your art label
